Hello :|
So yesterday, met up with Nita for lunch at Bishan. By lunch, I mean a meal at 3pm. It's been a while since I met him, so when he said I look "aged", it didn't really surprise me much. However, what he meant by "aged" is that I looked really worn out, which was kinda true I guess, due to the late nighters, and the fact I was sick for the last 2 days.
I may not have noticed it (don't really look at the mirror much), but I guess I feel that I'm worn out. I feel sleepy all the time, yet I can't sleep. Probably due to the stress-induced insomnia or something. But all these can be avoided you know. I choose to sleep late at night. I chose my life to be what it is, yet I didn't realise what was really happening.
So, I'm trying to have more consistent sleeping hours. Wake up early, try and get a jog/swim/gym, have proper meals and do other stuff other than playing games.
Gonna be hard, but the first step to a healthy body is a strong, healthy mind.
You know, sometimes I wonder if we really are young adults. We are all growing up right? It's a one way street, there's no turning back. It's just, some people tend to get stuck in the slow traffic, while other decides to pay the toll and take the expressway. Some enjoy the view, while others rush to the destination, hoping for something.
Life is something like that, you know. Like, each of us, driving our own car. And sometimes, when we are ahead, and a friend calls and ask for help with his broken tire, you're just too far ahead to help, you know? And as you carry on speeding towards the destination, the distance between you and that friend just keep getting further and further.
And you know what's the scary thing? You don't know what you're driving to.
