Hello.
It's moments like this that reminds me of how lonely I am. Sometimes, I'd really love to actually just go to the past. The past... where I could see my friends everyday. Where the lessons were so boring I could actually sleep in class. Where there were teachers to guide us through life, even though you might not need guidance, you listen to them because it comforts you. Ah, where has those days gone to?
But yes, as the past remains the past, and the future remains uncertain, the present is all we have. As time passes slowly, I realise that I should really start to worry about my college applications. About my housing in the states when I get there. About the new life I'll be having. I'm never a big fan of change.
But as much as we dislike changes, it is the fundamental basis of life. To survive, we have to adapt, to change. We have to accept new perceptions of things, whether we like it or not.
Change can be good or bad, and sometimes both. How we cope with these changes all depends on how we perceive them. If you see them as side effects of a bad decision, they'll always be side effects of a bad decision. But remember, they can also be new opportunities.
Everyone is changing. It doesn't matter why you're changing. What matters is what you're changing to.
