I remember one time, when I had this badass throat infection, I went to SGH (since the meds from polyclinic didn't work). I had to take this blood test. Anyway, they use this tube like thing, where they poke a needle and the blood automatically get suck into the small tube. I don't know if it was my low b.p, or was the nurse a rookie, but the blood just wouldn't come out. She had to re-poke the needle two more times before the blood would come out! Since then, everytime I get shots, I alway laugh, because I kept remembering that incident.
Yea, I went back indo for a couple of days to get my US tourist visa. I had to go through this interview with some American dude. He spoke english, that's always a plus. I didn't get what the big deal was. Everyone looked so nervous at the waiting room. Even my mom was more nervous than me, even though I was the one getting interviewed. She was like preparing me with all these questions the interviewer might ask. I didn't bother.
So when it was my turn, I just told him I was going to the states to visit my sister. And after confirming my name, and showing my s'pore visa, he said those magical words: 'Your visa will be ready in 2 days.'
