~Gorgeous The story began on Thursday, where we've got to extract a video from a video recorder. Mr Lee sent us on a quest to identify the cable needed to connect the device to the computer. And apparently, the only person that was suitable for the job is WeiJie, the TA guy. Great! We've got the cable, now we need to find the slot to put the cable into the camera. We forcefully poke the cable plug to every single hole we can find in the camera, hoping it'll work. Of course, randomly poking is not going to work. For the next part of the quest, it was finding Mr James Tan to help us connect the cable. He was in the parade square, guiding his CCA members (Infocomm Club, or commonly known as computer club) through PT (computer club and PT don't mix very well). Like performing magic on front of small children, he whipped, clicked and plugged the cable into the camera effortlessly, all under 1 sec. Me, vns, jess and dict were all like :o We've got the cable, we've connected it, and now, extraction time! It wasn't too much of a hassle. Saving it took pretty long, but we killed time by surfing the net. After all, we were stuck in a computer lab with 20 computers. What else were we suppose to do while we wait? I left before the video was saved. Vns and jess stayed back to make sure nothing goes wrong. I was off to the canteen, where the meeting for the CCA Leaders' Camp was held. Me, nt, rx volunteered to help out as mentors, among other cca leaders. Some of the CCA Leaders Allumni came back, one of which was the ever so popular sailor, Zachary. The discussion was went pretty well, many teambuilding games and ice breaker games. Really loved the night games though. It's going to be the sweetest shit ever. I won't be a spoiler and post it here though, less some junior of mine come in and look at it. You guys just gta wait till the camp's done. It was Thursday, I had tuition at Aunt Doris. Not. Went the meeting ended, it was already close to 7.30pm. By the time I went home it was almost 8pm. I SMSed Hama to tell him I won't be coming, and slept. Yea, the moment I lie on my bed, I slept. I remember it was after I had dinner, was around 9pm, I slept all the way till 6 in the morning. o_o That was the longest I've slept since ever! I never slept that long before, even when I was sick. I guess my body just couldn't handle any of the shit I've been going through no more. The next morning, was, a beautiful morning. Fully awake, energised, smelly (didn't got to bathe yesterday night), I took a shower, ate breakfast, and zoomed my way to school. Talked to her a tad bit during the bus ride (not too long though, since the stop where she boarded the bus was one stop away from where I alight). Go to school, rushed finish Chinese, and prepare myself, for the onslaught which will follow: Four periods of Chinese It was like a great battle which I may not survive. It's a battle I can't win, but if I presevere, they won't win either. Nah mates, I was just exagerrating. Chinese was surprisingly slack, despite the four periods, which just means more time to slack. 郑老师 was MIA because of some event, and for four periods we just need to do a full Paper 2 worksheet. Well, nt, as usual, didn't wanted to do, so the only way to make him do it is to make him play cards, and when he lose 1 game, he must do 1 question. Of course, by the end of the four periods, I manage to get him do all of the questions. Bio almost made me sleep, and luckily, for the first time (ever), Chinese lesson for the last period was cancelled, which makes me home free at 12.35pm! (a new record). Well, if only things can go your way. I had to stay back to:
So yea, life was quite busy for me after school right? Pretty much. The GP@Mayflower meeting was cancelled for some dubious reason beyond my capability to find out why, the Ess Army meeting was pretty much a drag, and I bail on them (sorry). The extraction of the vid had to wait till 2.30pm, when the people came back from lunch to open the comp lab. Didn't cut mah hair. Ate lunch before nt arrive, because I'll have died from starvation if I waited till 3.30pm Things went pretty fast with lots, LOTS of laughter, ropes, excitement, and bondage. After getting afew splinters from the ropes, we finalised our Tug-O-War and, be prepared CCA Leaders '08/09, for a 20v20 pulling frenzy. Awesome, no? :D Went home, and, like yesterday, went kahblok on my bed. Slept, slept, and slept. All the way till today, 7am, where I had to get ready for the wv360 briefing. Can't believe I did it again, slept for 10 hours? I really should cut it out. That's right, from next week onwards, I'm going to practice sleeping early, so that I'll be energised for my Chinese O's. I shall sleep at 12am daily, rather than gaming with my buds till 3am. That'll be 3x7=21hours of sleep gained!
As said before, I woke up at 7am, with my school uniform and everything, which made me realise how sticky I was. After plucking myself up from my bed, I proceeded for a nice cold shower which really wakes me up. Breakfast was quick, with afew pieces of bread and milk, and off I go to the AMK MRT. Bought a couple of Green Tea, plucked my periphereals in, and so, I rode the train. When I arrived, only saw Agustina huddled up in a corner which was barely visible (don't ask how I noticed her). Saw I joined her and waited for the rest. The rest came pretty quickly, and by 10-15mins, we were boarding the train to Jurong East MRT. The ride was pretty boring. cj and yq was trading rude remarks to each other, as usual. Emanto stared at both of em, I leaned against the wall and listen to some This is 運命. The Indo girls were on the other side of the cart talking among themselves. The ride, though mundane, was pretty nice. Lots of beautiful views. We soon arrived at the at Jurong East. Waddled through the interchange only to wait for 355, which will directly take us to the science centre. We reached, and after getting a free entry pass, proceed to the Dalton Hall. The briefing was really enjoyable, and don't worry I took lots of pictures. After all the groups have arrived at the lecture hall, the chair of WV360 '08 introduced himself, his committee, and the facilitators. After that, we had some ice breaker games! In the ice breaker games, the facilitators posted some words on post-its on our backs. You can't see your own word, but you can see others'. The aim was to make the other person say out his word, but you can't say his word directly. If the other person say his word, you can take his post-it. After a certain time frame, the person with the largest amount of collected post-it wins! A great ice breaker game, I should say. I had the word "peace" attached on me Well, the mf team huddled up into quite a bunch at first, but soon dispersed to get more post its! There was this guy whom had the word "What?" attached to him. Sure, you may think, getting him to say "what?" shouldn't be difficult, right? Well, it should be, unless he replied every single question I ask in chinese, which will then be quite a difficulty. Well, I gave up on him and asked another girl from Nan Hua High. She had the word "gorgeous" attached to her. Oh boy. Well, she took the initiative and bombarded me with questions which will evantually make me say my word. Well, that didn't happen, and I didn't get her word either. But, weird enough, she was gorgeous, and, by some miraclous means, I got her number. Then, after afew smses, got her email, and now am chatting with her :x What? I'm still a teenager right? It ain't wrong to 'broaden my perspective' right? The Ess Army collated all our post it and passed it all to jess. Altogether, we had 10, which was kinda cool. We won third and got some kind of miniature wooden bowling set. lol. The briefing was swift, and we met our facilitators, which I forgot their names (oof!). We're meeting again next monday, after our Chinese O's, which's cool. The whole thing soon ended, and there we are, in the Singapore Science Center with a free pass and lots of time. We explored the place, and soon the guys and girls got split off, then vns and agustina got split off from the girls. Soon, we all gathered back together in front of a massage chair. Emanto thought it was an electric chair, and invited jess to sit on it. Of course, he was wrong, and jess ended up having massage for 5 mins. The chair emanto was talking about was about 10m to the left of the massage chairs. We wasted 2 dorrars to get cj to sit on it and activated it. We saw the meter going up. 250V...500V....1000V...1500V....2000V! We all open our eyes wide to see smoke coming out of cj's hair. Then. Nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing but vibration from the handle and lots of loud noises. No. Fucking. Way. >: We further explored more of the science centre, going through the i-Space exhibit, Waterworks, and lots of other nick-nacks. Soon, it was 1.30pm, and we decided to head back. Emanto went home earlier because he had tuition. yq and cj ventured off to some unknown place, and they went back too. vns and agustina was nowhere to be seen, and popped out when we were heading towards the exit. I was alone, with 2 A2 vanguard sheets, with the 5 indo girls. We walked, strolled, ran, and rode our way back to Jurong MRT, where they went to Capital Mall for lunch while I head back to yck.
